CELEBRATE PRIDE WITH US: REFLECT, EMPOWER, UNITE.   This Pride Month, we celebrate the vibrant LGBTQIA+ community and its journey towards equality. Our theme this year is inspired by the New York Pride Parade: reflect on progress made and current challenges, empower ourselves to overcome them, and unite the whole community and its allies for greater impact. At Kering, we believe everyone deserves to be their authentic selves. For this reason, we have established:  🏳️🌈 High Standards: our Standards of Conduct tackle discrimination against LGBTQIA+ employees. 🏳️🌈 Inclusive Networks: ALL connects LGBTQIA+ employees and allies across our Houses. 🏳️🌈 Equal Parental Leave: Baby Leave supports all parents, dismantling gender stereotypes. Our Houses are getting ready to participate in several Pride parades around the world: New York City, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Milan, London… bringing together the LGBTQIA+ community. #KeringPeople #Pride #InclusionandDiversity

On June 8, Kering Chairman and CEO François-Henri Pinault, an HEC Paris alumnus (H.85), delivered the commencement address for the MBA, Executive MBA and Executive Masters Class of 2024. In front of a marquee packed with over 2,600 people, his first words were for the families who, through their support and affection, have made the graduates' achievements possible. "One never succeeds alone," he asserted. To the executive programs graduates who had "the courage to get out of their comfort zone" and “put themselves at risk”, he saluted this act of willpower. François-Henri Pinault's speech focused on humility and conviction. “Never take anything for granted”, he declared, as this allows one to "chart your own course," to dare transformations. "We always decided to swim against the tide," he said, drawing on the history of the Pinault group and his own journey and strategic decisions that led to his father's company being morphed into Kering in 2013 and becoming a leading global luxury group. While celebrating the achievements of the 2024 graduates, he reminded them that in success as in difficulty, “you cannot lead a fulfilling career as a solitary hero”. #KeringForTalent #HECGrad24

Yesterday, Kering Chief Sustainability and Institutional Affairs Officer Marie-Claire Daveu took the stage across WWD Editor in Chief, Miles Socha at the WWD Global Fashion Summit in Riyadh, in partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Fashion Commission. The conference which explored the theme of the ‘Next Fashion Frontiers’ dived into the growing importance of sustainability and circularity among the new generations of luxury consumers. For her panel discussion on ‘How Kering is Navigating the Sustainability Imperative’, Marie-Claire Daveu highlighted the relevance of innovation and disruptive solutions when crafting tomorrow’s Luxury. “Innovation is crucial to reach Kering's sustainability targets – and above all, we need disruptive solutions. And we have concrete examples: last April, in celebration of Earth Day, BALENCIAGA launched its LUNAFORM™ Maxi Bathrobe. Specifically designed for Balenciaga by GOZEN, this lower‐impact leather alternative called LUNAFORM™ is an animal and plastic‐free biomaterial derived from nanocellulose and produced by microorganisms. Notably, this innovation was awarded 'Best Luxury Product' by PETA last year.” - Marie-Claire Daveu. #KeringForSustainability

Celebrating World Environment Day by shining a light on regenerative agriculture. From cotton to wool, or leather to cashmere, most clothing begins life as a raw material on a farm. Therefore, the future of the fashion industry is inextricably linked with the future of agriculture. Though agriculture is currently a major driver of biodiversity loss and climate change, it can become a powerful nature-based solution. To achieve this transformation, Kering and Conservation International launched the Regenerative Fund for Nature in 2021, with the aim of transforming 1,000,000 hectares of rangelands in fashion’s supply chains into regenerative agricultural spaces by 2026.   Discover some of the projects supported by Kering through its Regenerative Fund for Nature. In order of appearance: Epiterre | France | The Epiterre project seeks to restore ecological balance and to safeguard producer livelihoods by implementing a resilient agro-ecological model that promotes the growth of quality, nature-friendly fodder.   The Good Growth Company | Mongolia |The Good Growth Company aims to identify and restore ecosystems that produce raw materials while involving the herders who work on-site. The Good Growth Company brings together ecosystem science and community partnerships to create value for key places and people. Organic Cotton Accelerator | India | The Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA) has a twofold objective: helping conventional farmers in their transition to organic agriculture through training and active involvement as well as maximizing the adoption of regenerative practices by organic producers.   Wildlife Conservation Society & The Wildlife Friendly Enterprise Network | Argentina | This unique project in Patagonia brings the power of regenerative approaches together with wildlife-friendly practices for livestock management that coexists with nature.   Conservation South Africa | South Africa | Conservation South Africa offers a two-year partnership to integrate small stock farmers into existing grazing associations, improving producers’ market access and enhances their livelihood opportunities.
