One of the reasons it gives for creating redirects is "Likely alternative capitalizations (for example, Natural Selection redirects to Natural selection). This is not necessary for user searches made via Wikipedia's search engine, but may aid linking from other articles and external sites, as well as direct URL entry." 64.203.187.82 (talk) 20:16, 2 September 2020 (UTC) This isn't helpful to link to from other articles, and as far as external linking goes, it's not like it was a longstanding article title that got moved away, but the redirect is kept to help prevent link rot. Combining multiple types of variations on a title gets especially pointless – the number of redirects goes up quickly, while the usefulness of each one goes down. See also WP:PANDORA.
