This area of Eugene is signified by the location of three main roads; Highway 99 to the east, Barger Drive to the north, Roosevelt Boulevard to the south, and Green Hill Road to the west. While Roosevelt Blvd. is the southern landmark border, it does come to an end at Randy Pape Beltline, a highway that cuts across Eugene, acting as one of the main lifelines of transportation. Royal Avenue, which like Barger and Roosevelt have their eastern edge at Hwy 99, stretches westward to Green Hill Road, as does Barger Drive. Royal is located almost at the mid-section of the Bethel Community.
