Anna Rosa Buhigas (born 16 December 1994) is a retired American soccer player who played as a goalkeeper for Real Betis.[3][4][5]

Career

Bughigas attended Lipscomb University and played for university team, Lipscomb Bisons whilst playing Buhigas won the ASUN Conference as best athlete and best goalkeeper of the year.[6][7][8]

Buhigas signed her first professional soccer contract with Serie A team Verona in 2017.[9] After Buhigas's first season she left to play for Pyrgos Limassol in Cyprus.[10] After one season in Cyprus, Buhigas returned to Italy to play for Tavagnacco. In 2019 Buhigas moved to Real Betis.[11] The following season played for Sporting de Huelva for 2 seasons and in 2021/2022 season played again in Serie A for Pomigliano for one more season before retiring.[12] Since retiring from professional soccer Buhigas has taken up coaching at the University of Tampa's soccer program.[13]
