Notify Meta of a Transfer in App Ownership

Are you seeking to transfer ownership of your Meta app, business, or assets to another party? If so, please fill out the form below and your initial submission will be reviewed. Please be aware that Meta may require additional information after the submission of this form prior to approving the transfer. Until your request is approved, your transfer will not be recognized by Meta and any use or access of Platform Data by the new owner may be in violation of Meta’s Platform Terms and Terms of Service. Submission Requirements

  1. Apps, Business IDs, or Assets being transferred.
  2. Identity of and contact email for current owners of items to be transferred.
  3. Identity of and contact email for new owners of items to be transferred.
  4. Briefly describe the nature and scope of the ownership transfer. Please include any information about the affiliation between the transferring party and acquiring party, and any anticipated changes in purpose or usage of any Apps, Business IDs, Assets, Platform Data, or other items.
  5. What type of proposed transfer is this (e.g., stock sale, merger, asset sale, etc.)?
  6. What is the timeline for the proposed transfer?
  7. Please provide any other information you think may be relevant.

After we receive your request, someone will be in touch with any additional questions or information necessary to successfully process your transfer under Platform Term 11.a. Depending on the details of the initial submission, additional questions may include, and you should be prepared to provide:

  1. Further information about the rationale or purpose of the transfer.
  2. Further information about how the transfer may impact access to, collection of, or use of Platform Data.
  3. Further information about other Apps, Business IDs, or Assets held by the transferring or acquiring companies.
  4. Any additional information required by Meta to approve the transfer.
