Offshore wind platforms take advantage of higher wind speeds and greater wind consistency, generating more power than onshore turbines. Constructed on platforms tethered to the seabed, they potentially allow for an even greater number of turbines in deeper waters. All leading floating foundation concepts for offshore wind turbines require mooring to the seabed and these mooring systems have various bearing considerations. Find out what they are in this article from by Trelleborg’s Product and Innovations Manager Mark Hampton: https://bit.ly/4aTEEvH

Today is World Environment Day, and the Stuttgart team joined the #GenerationRestoration movement of the United Nations by organizing a clean-up around the office area. Following the project name "Let's putz"—in German, "putzen" means "to clean"—they collected trash from the nearby green areas, streets, and park. Additionally, the team supported the victims of the recent flooding that significantly affected the region. This year, we offered our colleagues three engaging activities to choose from, and I had the honor of joining an enthusiastic group from our Stuttgart and Gärtringen locations for the "Let's Putz" event. Together, we spent a morning cleaning the surrounding areas and parks near our Stuttgart office. It was heartening to receive so much positive feedback from passersby, and we hope our efforts inspire others to join us in making a difference! 💚 #WorldEnvironmentDay
