Due to constant changes in infrastructure, HERE and Garmin produce yearly updates for your navigation system so that you have the most updated information available.
Navigation updates are available in four formats: DVD, USB, HondaLink, and downloadable content (Garmin only). The year and model of your vehicle will determine which format is compatible, and the cost associated with the update (if any). Formats are broken down by vehicle model and year below.

DVD, USB, and HondaLink updates can be ordered at https://hondanavi.navigation.com. The costs of the updates can be found there. You can also access the website through the Honda MyGarage site if your vehicle with navigation is registered there. If you have one of the vehicles that support downloadable content, please visit the Garmin website. These updates are complimentary for the first 5 years of ownership.
The information you will need to order varies based on your vehicle model and year, but the most important information you will need is your vehicle model and year, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), device information, and/or version number. Both websites provide detailed instructions on how to obtain the required information for each vehicle.
