Mandiant Academy offers Incident Response and Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis certifications. Each certification exam is 1 hour in length, contains 50 questions, and is overseen by a live proctor. Participants must score 70% or higher to receive a 3-year certification backed by Mandiant.

Exam objectives are based on subject matter workshops, industry survey results, and the NIST/NICE framework for PR-CIR-001.
3 to 5 years of IR experience is recommended, along with the following courseware: Windows Enterprise IR, Linux Enterprise IR, and Network Traffic Analysis.

Mandiant Academy requires 90 CPE credits to be earned during the 3-year certification cycle—to ensure continued proficiency of the certificate holder.
Failure to meet the CPE requirements within 30 days of the certificate’s expiration date will result in suspension of certification.
