In 2022 Wattpad partnered with Kids Help Phone and Epitaph Group Inc. to drive awareness for their RiseUp program during back to school season. The RiseUp Program is a free 24/7 French and English wellness support service for Black Youth across Canada. To earn meaningful engagement amongst the Black youth community on Wattpad and drive traffic to the RiseUp webpage, we enlisted three of Wattpad's Black creators to spearhead this campaign by writing letters to their younger selves, giving them the support, advice and encouragement they would have wanted to receive ahead of their first day of school. 📝 These letters were brought to life as a video by Blue Ant Plus, and featured the Wattpad writers themselves!
