🚀 North County Transit District (NCTD) launches NCTD+ with Spare 🚀 This innovative service connects students to key locations like Palomar College and California State University San Marcos. It also allows residents to use the NCTD+ app to book rides to Sprinter commuter rail stations and 72 bus stops within a 10-square-mile zone. Offering affordable rides at just $2.50 to/from Sprinter stations and $5 for other destinations, it makes it easy to travel to cities like Los Angeles and San Diego through connections to the Amtrak rail network amongst others. ⭐ 🚃   “Developing new ways to increase mobility, provide more connectivity to our transportation network, and bring new assets to the communities we serve is a key focus for The District,” said Shawn M. 🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈 As we celebrate Pride Month here at Spare, we're proud to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community. This is a time to honour the history and progress made, recognize the challenges still faced, and is also an opportunity for us to reaffirm our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone here at Spare. We honour the bravery and resilience of those who stood up during the Stonewall Riots of June 1969 — a pivotal event in the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights. They paved the way for progress, but it is not their fight alone. As allies of the LGBTQIA+ community, we proudly fight for and with them. At Spare, we are excited to learn and celebrate Pride with Quanah Style, a powerhouse queer, trans and Indigenous drag performer. Quanah will be sharing her lived experiences being an Indigenous queer person as well as sharing her love of music and performance with our team. We take this time to celebrate love, diversity, and the many ways in which LGBTQIA+ individuals enrich our lives and our work culture. Never forgetting the past and ongoing struggles for equal rights, we continue to shine a spotlight on LGBTQIA+ individuals’ experiences. For over 20 years, Kim's valuable feedback has helped PSTA address the transit needs of the physically challenged community in Pinellas County. Spare also had the opportunity to collaborate with Kim during our customer hackathons, which has helped enhance the PSTA Access App and make transit more accessible and reliable for all.
