It’s National Biscuit Day! Did you know that Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen introduced its now-famous Buttermilk Biscuit in 1983? 🍗 The flaky biscuit quickly became one of the brand's most popular core menu items, served up warm to customers. It's also spawned other menu items: In March 2023, the Strawberry Biscuit hit the dessert menu, balancing sweet and salty flavours with the brand’s classic buttery biscuits featuring fruity strawberry bits with natural flavour and topped with creamy icing. Congratulations to Tim Hortons, its restaurant owners, team members and volunteers on another successful Smile Cookie campaign! 👏 Nearly $18.8 million was raised through sales of Smile Cookies this year, supporting over 600 charities and community groups across Canada and in the United States. #SmileCookie #TimHortons
We are proud to share that through the generosity of Tims guests across Canada and in the United States, and the unwavering dedication of Tim Hortons restaurant owners, team members and volunteers, we collectively raised nearly $18.8 million for our annual Smile Cookie campaign! 100% of funds raised will support over 600 local charity and community groups in each community we serve. Since the first ever Smile Cookie campaign, Tim Hortons restaurants have raised more than $129 million for charities and community groups which are selected by local owners. I also want to recognize Dauphin, Manitoba Tim Hortons restaurant owners Rhonda Pardy and Greg Crisanti who sold the most Smile Cookies this year - over 43,500 cookies in just seven days! The proceeds from the sales of their Smile Cookies are being donated the Smilezone Foundation. Thank you again to everyone who made this year such a success!
