Makes you want to keep reading
This was read well. The story is more political than I thought but I loved that. The climax was unsurprising but the book ended on a satisfying note in my opinion. Grim gives me phantom of the opera vibes.
OBSESSED
I am not huge into reading, but I heard a rumor they were going to turn this into a movie. Before the movie came out I wanted to actually read it and see how good the books are in comparison to the movie. Let me tell you, this book had my attention non stop. I was listening to this audiobook EVERYWHERE! The gym, my car, outside while tanning, in my room. Every second I was intrigued. The plot is amazing and this book will hold a special place in my heart now. LOVEDDDDD IT
Get the hard copy, not the audio book
The writing is very lyrical and easy to follow. It seems like a nice read. Story is fun to follow, if sometimes a bit too predictable at times. The audio book speaker has a wonderful voice, but she does a weird ‘monster voice’ for the men in the book, that completely takes me out of it. It’s like getting a bed time story from your mom.
