Position: Staff Product Manager
Location: Portland, OR (Headquarters)*
*Remote position - may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
Duties: Lead large-scale product cycles and strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams within Engineering, Design, Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Identify and implement product strategies and roadmaps that provide customers with clear and actionable solutions to users’ needs. Meet regularly with customers to identify technical needs and business opportunities with respect to Airship’s suite of software as a service (SaaS) services and products. Work with Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, Business Opportunity, Legal, and Executive teams to understand business opportunities and constraints, and determine strategic direction of product development. Research, prototype, and test potential solutions based on customer needs, user preferences, and industry trends. Partner with Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to promote and provide training on the integration and implementation of products. Track and follow up on product performance, customer satisfaction, and market reach to ensure digital solutions and services continue to be impactful, functional, and innovative.
Salary from: Airship’s compensation is determined by a variety of factors, including market data, experience ladders, and geographical location. The starting pay range for this position is: $157,498 to $187,254 per year. Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, competitive equity packages, and other performance incentives. In addition, we also provide an extensive suite of Benefits offerings as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field (foreign equivalent accepted)
5 years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience as a Product Associate, SaaS Product Manager, or similar position
Skills/Requirements: 5 years' experience in each of the following:
- Leading large-scale product cycles and strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams within SaaS organizations to implement customer-centric solutions meeting users’ needs;
- Defining product strategy and roadmaps that are business outcome-focused (not just output focused), building feedback loops, and creating product OKRs that align with SaaS company goals;
- Interacting with senior and executive-level client stakeholders across business functions;
- Using product discovery methodology to drive the product development process;
- Developing and implementing effective product processes and enhancements based on customer feedback and the latest product management techniques;
- Building or managing SaaS products designed for mobile marketing campaigns; and
- Developing innovative solutions that enable effective mobile advertising, audience targeting, measurement, and optimization, resulting in successful and impactful mobile marketing campaigns.
