Democracy is underpinned by the principles of open government. This Open Government Week, we encourage agencies to proactively ‘open the door’ through the disclosure of information of public interest. Opening data means releasing data in a form that ensures that it is accessible and usable. Government holds vast amounts of data that is in its existing form, or could become, open data. The IPC has resources like Guideline 7 – Open Data to assist agencies when considering the release of Data: https://bit.ly/3tjnsuP
