Risk level categorizations for heat index are standardized by the OSHA-NIOSH 3-category scale. Heat categories for WBGT follow the US Army standard.
Display various hot weather measurements including psychrometric wet bulb globe temperature, heat index, temperature, and humidity in order to plan outdoor work activities and risk levels for occupational safety and health. Useful for coaches, managers, and workers.
No login, registration, or subscription required.
Mitigate the risk of heat-related illnesses like heat stroke, heat exhaustion, rhabdomyolysis, heat cramps, and heat rash. Recognize hot conditions to avoid the onset of symptoms of weakness, dizziness, and fatigue. Avoid heat-related symptoms and injuries by managing hydration and rest breaks. Schedule outdoor work in advance to avoid extreme weather conditions.

Good app!
I’ve been using this app now for a couple of months. So far the app hasn’t crashed on me and it has worked well. This app helps me understand what the heat index is going to be. I need that information to help employees stay safe.

Very useful for summer
Revised review: the app is really useful and easy. There was an outage for a day or two with the weather service but that has been remedied and is working now. Developer was very responsive.

Fabulous App
Last summer I went to hospital emergency for two days after suffering Heat Stroke. The Heat Safety app gives me current weather conditions to help me to avoid another Heat Stroke.
