If you've properly executed all the steps prior, this should be the easiest part. Finally, you are ready to move on! Use the goals you set for yourself as a compass to guide you towards your next move. Focus on the brand that you have created for yourself. Utilize your strengths, tap into your network, get creative, take some courses if you have to, and don't forget to have fun while doing it. Failure is not a step backwards, it's a step forward, because with every failure, you are one step closer to succeeding.

Everyone reflects differently, but a good method is to write down what went wrong and what went right on two sides of a piece of paper. For me I find that writing things down engrosses me deeper in the process and helps me draw better insights and conclusions. This step is key to your growth as an individual and as a professional and it is not to be skipped.

Nothing meaningful ever came to fruition without failure, and usually lots of it. The quicker you accept your reality, the quicker you can begin to learn from what went wrong. This reflection is critical to preventing similar future failures and to ensuring you get closer to success the next time around.

There are plenty of powerful AI based automation tools out there that can help you cut out a lot of the administrative parts of talent acquisition while still ensuring a great if not better than average candidate experience. If you aren't familiar with the tools, there are great learning courses on LinkedIn and lots of resources online to help you identify the right tools for your needs.

Delegation is a powerful tool at your disposal, if you know how to use it properly. Take the time to get to know your colleagues, understand what each of them brings to the table and how their skills can help you. Once you understand this, you will know which tasks to delegate to whom and which ones to focus on yourself. As a global talent acquisition professional, sometimes you need to focus on the strategic work, the relationship management, compiling reports, etc. so it's important to utilize your team so you aren't inundated with all the work on your shoulders.

There are numerous tools out there to help you achieve this. Personally, I find Calendly works pretty well and it's free. You can easily integrate it with Outlook, and it helps you quickly arrange meetings with candidates and stakeholders. Depending on the needs of the organization and budget, tools like Slack, Trello, and Monday.com are great alternatives to consider. Remember, you are not a robot, and you need to keep some time aside for yourself. Ensure that you've got time blocked off in your calendar daily for lunch break, focus time, or whatever else it is that you need to help keep you in balance.
